“It's hard to believe that it's time for baseball. But since Monday we've been having two-a-days, and we'll continue that though Friday. It's just hard to think that three weeks from (today) we're going to be opening our season.”

“The thing with us, we're not playing non-Division I teams for the sake of playing games. We're playing quality teams. But against teams like Oklahoma and Texas you have to hit your spot. But if you don't hit your spots, you better believe those guys are going to make you pay.”
“It's an easy way to get games down here. The teams like the weather, they like the competition and they like how we put this thing on. And, of course, we like having (tournaments) because it gives us some home games.”
“We've been on the road most of the year, so playing on the road we're used to. We've played in some difficult environments and it's made us a better baseball team.”
