“It does surprise me how loyal the fans are here in Detroit. Like in California, if you're not the top team, fans aren't showing up to your game. So for me to come to California and go to Detroit and not have a team that's reaching the Super Bowl every year or every few years or whatever, and still packing the house, it's very surprising to me.”
“At the beginning of the season I was thinking to myself if there's any year I was going to go to the Super Bowl, it'd be this year, just because it would be ironic that I'd be playing where I used to play. It's unbelievable being a part of this whole experience. This is what you grow up dreaming about. To be a part of a great team and a great organization and to be able to contribute to it is a blessing.”
