“We forced a lot of turnovers and we shot the ball well. I thought the press was the difference in the game. We were ready to play. I was proud of them, they were ready to go when they came out.”
“That was a little easier than I thought it would be. I think we're pretty focused on what we need to do. Our kids have been here before. They understand that in the state tournament one bad game and you're through for the year.”
“We knew they were very capable. But our girls were just determined to get this second straight (state championship) and they came out ready to play. They weren't going to be denied. I think we may have surprised even ourselves with our intensity.”
