“Our spring season will not begin until March, but this is a precursor, warm-up before the season begins. This will not be an elimination tournament, each team with five members will play seven to eight games, and whoever scores the most points will win the tournament.”
“The first year, the team was coached by the city of Cleveland, but the YMCA took over for the next two years, and now it is back in the hands of the city. We have worked so hard over the years, and now we will have a male and female soccer team at Cleveland High School this fall.”
“We ask the students to show an improvement on their grades every three weeks on their report cards or progress reports. We are working to get more girls and younger boys to sign up.”
