“It was definitely a huge step forward for us. Our goal the entire season was to get to conference and play good basketball (there). We still have a lot of improvement to do, and we have a long way to go. But we definitely are much more comfortable playing together as a team.”
“Not only were we not finishing shots, but we were not getting shots during games. We were getting 20 to 30 shots per game. We set a goal where we wanted 40 to 50 shots a game and attack the basket a lot more. The kids are getting a lot more comfortable doing that.”
“It was a huge game of runs throughout the game. We talked about putting them away at halftime and they went on a 13-0 run that put us down. It was mostly unforced errors on our part and good play on theirs.”
