“I won, so it was a championship skate. It wasn't perfect, but last year at Canadians I had one of my best skates and then I had a lackluster performance in the long at worlds. I feel better knowing there's still room for improvement.”
“I think we can both feel good about what we did. Last year (in London), we both did a good long and that's it. This year, we each had three solid skates. I know I'm happy with what I did.”
“That was a big mistake and I'll just have to come back from it and learn from it. I think what happened is I took the lutz for granted and I wasn't focusing.”
