“Last year was a fluke. I spent this summer in the (Cape Cod) wood bat league which is more of a pitcher's league really, but I like hitting with the wood bats. It makes you center the ball and helps your swing.”
“I wanted to get off to a good start this season because I didn't do that the last couple of years. I'm shorter in my swing and I think I'm a different hitter this year. We came out and beat some good teams and we really didn't hit that well as a team.”
