“My friend needed to do a project where he brought together a variety of musical styles. At that time we had a few horn players in our group and it was sort of a jazz project. When we heard about opportunity, I gave Mo and Apollo a call and what we came up with sounded awesome.”
“After a while our horn players dropped out and then Justin J. [Hampton] joined the group. After that, we started doing small house parties around Ann Arbor. There was even a time where we played the same house every Saturday for five weeks in a row.”
