“Instead of taking a side tour through part of the warehouse district, the first mile went straight down Summit and turned left onto the [Anthony Wayne] bridge. That's when they're fresh, that's when they've got a lot of energy, so that's one reason why they ran so fast. But the real tribute goes to Mother Nature for giving us such a perfect runners' day.”
