“We are just going to have to make things happen. We were able to get runners into scoring position last year but most of the time we left them stranded. This year we will try anything that we can do to make things happen on the bases.”
“We had tight ball games last season and that says to me our pitching and defense were strong but we couldn't get the hits so that's what we are really focusing on this year.”
“I think that our district is just as tough as it was last year. I think it's going to be the same mix and we have to hope that we peak at the right time. Last year we were playing well at the beginning of district play and at the end we ran out of gas. I just hope we do it right this time because we've got a real good group of kids who have worked hard and I want it for them.”
