“The majority of deer hunters in Pennsylvania are rapidly losing their confidence in the Pennsylvania Game Commission and their current deer management policy. Our whitetail deer herd has been decimated in many areas in the state and the Game Commission seems reluctant to make any changes.”
“The Game Commission has underestimated the determination of the Pennsylvania deer hunter. For the majority of us, this is not simply a hobby. It is a major part of our lives. Some of the PGC commissioners comment that only 8 percent of hunters in Pennsylvania make up its population. If they really think that we have no more political influence than that, just wait until governor Rendell runs for re-election later this year.”
