“It's not like you can afford to spend the first two innings feeling your way to see what you can establish against certain hitters. With the 65-pitch limit, I think the pitchers will be attacking right away. You have to come out of the gate and go after them.”

After I take time off and start throwing again, there's a period when you work through the shoulder soreness. I'm at that point now. I'm right on schedule for the Classic. The fastball should be there for me in Puerto Rico.”
