“It might impact us a little, but as a school you can't let it bother you. The bottom line is that if we play well, people will come out and see us. It doesn't matter all that much who we are playing, like I said, if we win football games, the fans will come out.”
“When we play the bigger schools, it tends to elevate her game. We'll play teams that come in and say, 'Oh, they're just a Class A school,' Then, they realize we're here to play and this won't be a cakewalk.”
“She's picked all those areas up. Her scoring is pretty much where it was, but there is more of her going to the hoop and the foul line. She's really picked up her defense and rebounding.”
“We definitely missed Brittany, but I thought the kids really responded well and put together a nice, solid basketball game. We started a little sluggish in the first quarter and that's to be expected because we only found out at 4 o'clock before the game that Brittany would not play.”
